Getting Started With Your WIC Vouchers
This class is designed to help WIC participants feel confident when using their vouchers at the grocery store. Each WIC participants voucher is unique and WIC has also added new foods in order to create healthier food packages. This lesson will help you pick WIC approved food items. By the end of this lesson, WIC participants will be able to identify and measure the amounts and types of foods available in WIC food packages. |

Healthy Eating, Healthy Pregnancy
Good nutrition is very important for your baby to grow and develop. This class will tell you about all of the foods you and your baby need every day. You will learn tips on handling common issues during pregnancy such as heartburn, nausea, and constipation. After completing this class, you will be equipped with the knowledge to give your baby the best nutrition through your food choices. |

Feeding Your Infant
This class will provide basic infant feeding tips for new mothers of babies from birth to 1 year of age. Mothers will learn about breastfeeding and the benefits associated with it, how to choose formulas, when to start introducing baby foods and solid foods, and how much to expect their infant to eat. This class will provide new mothers the right steps in making sure their baby is properly nourished. |

Feeding Your Toddler
This class is designed to teach mothers techniques for dealing with common toddler eating problems, such as picky eating and food jags. It will discuss the different roles of parents and children during meal times. Mothers will also learn fun and simple ways to prepare foods for toddlers to encourage healthy eating. After the class, mothers will identify the basic portion sizes and food groups their toddler needs, as well as tips to make meal times less stressful and more satisfying. |
